Benefits of Enrolling in a Full Time Course
The full time courses provide valuable qualifications for people seeking work or already working in areas of health, fitness, security and other related fields. They also present an interesting alternative for school leavers who miss out on the limited number of places available at university or TAFE courses. The time and costs involved are considerably less than most university or TAFE courses and the likely outcome on graduation is in many cases higher than the average profession. In martial arts more than other fields, a person's prestige will rise according to the time they have spent practising their art.
Upon completion of the course, graduates have a number of options available to them such as: running an affiliate branch of the International Wing Chun Academy, gaining employment with the Academy, starting their own school, or seeking employment in one of the many other fields related to this course. For those who find teaching martial arts full-time inconvenient, running classes outside their normal working hours may be a lucrative and healthy hobby. Even those who do not pursue a career related to their studies are left with an enduring interest which will last a lifetime.
As recognised tertiary qualifications, course entry usually requires completion of the School Certificate (completion of Year 10) or equivalent. However, there are some special entry categories which consider other factors such as maturity, motivation and potential to successfully complete the course.
